Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Need Gone, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Need Gone Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Need Gone Provides

Need Gone is a community platform that helps people offer useful items for free and coordinate pickups with other users.

Need Gone does not own, inspect, store, transport, deliver, guarantee, or take responsibility for items posted by users. Need Gone is not a party to agreements or interactions between users.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Need Gone. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting access to your account, and all activity that occurs through your account.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for fraudulent purposes, or allow another person to misuse your account.

Listings and User Content

You are responsible for listings, photos, descriptions, messages, profile information, and other content you submit to Need Gone.

You must have the right to give away any item you post. Your listings must be truthful and must accurately describe the item and its condition.

By submitting content, you give Need Gone permission to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the service. You continue to own your content.

Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not use Need Gone to offer, request, distribute, or promote illegal, stolen, dangerous, recalled, counterfeit, or prohibited items.

Prohibited conduct includes fraud, harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, misleading listings, unlawful activity, attempts to bypass safety features, and misuse of another user's personal information.

Additional rules appear in the Community Guidelines and are part of these Terms.

Pickups and Meetups

Users are solely responsible for deciding whether, when, where, and how to complete a pickup or meetup.

Use good judgment when interacting with other users. Meet in a public location when appropriate, tell someone where you are going, avoid entering unfamiliar homes, and cancel an interaction if you feel unsafe.

Need Gone does not conduct background checks and does not guarantee the identity, honesty, reliability, safety, or conduct of any user.

Community Records

Need Gone may display information about completed pickups, cancellations, no-shows, giveaways, and other account activity to help users make informed decisions.

These records are based on activity reported or recorded through the service and may not provide a complete picture of a user.

Enforcement

Need Gone may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, created a safety risk, abused the service, or exposed Need Gone or others to legal risk.

We are not required to monitor every listing, message, or interaction and cannot guarantee that prohibited content will always be identified or removed immediately.

Service Availability

Need Gone may change, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, secure, accurate, or free from errors.

Disclaimer

Need Gone is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Need Gone disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Need Gone and its operators will not be liable for injuries, property damage, losses, disputes, missed pickups, item defects, user conduct, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service or interactions between users.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Need Gone and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses resulting from your content, your use of the service, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Need Gone changes. Continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
